Your wave model is a good one and makes sense.

I do similar - I have my clients&#039; program broken up into 4 week blocks, following the pattern:

Week1, hard, Week2, medium, Week, 3, very hard, Week 4, easy - Thought I always keep the poundages as heavy as possible, I&#039;ll lower the number of sets on my &quot;easy&quot; and &quot;medium&quot; weeks.

I&#039;m sure you agree that this will allow you to lift heavier poundages without getting hurt, which is easy w/ the bench press.</description>
