How old is he now?

He's frackin' ripped at any rate.

But, we know he uses a bit of "help".

That's the only problem with some of these Hollywood examples. They often put physique before health and provide unattainable models for those who want health-first fitness.

Ya gotta' give him credit for the work ethic though. He's workin' it hard. That part is definitely inspiring.

Cheers,
Adam

I really like this device. It looks so hard core lol. And Sly's face looks kind of wrong, but I don't care. I am still rooting for Rocky.. or Rambo LOL!

Yo whatever man. Sly is a beast. And help or no help like a powerlifter dude was saying "Roids will get you what? 10% more than your "natural" physical potential? So that still means you gotta bust your ass even with roids to get any the results everyone on juice gets".

People forget that roids and other illegal substances like that pretty much ONLY allow you to recover quicker from workouts. Which means you still gotta work out, actually workout HARDER, to make taking the roids worthwhile... nowhatImean?

Not that I'm condoning them. And besides, when Sly got caught with stuff coming back in the states it was HGH (human growth hormone) which is mainly used as an anti-aging supplement - and anyone over 50 (or even 40) I say GO FOR IT. Even guys who use roids will tell you HGH is useless by itself as a performance enhancer unless you take it with a hardcore cycle.

ANYWAYS... I love Sly. I LOVE Rocky movies. And this movie is going to be made out of three things 1. Insane. 2. Awesome. and 3. WIN!

Later
Caleb

P.S. Has anyone heard Tony Robbins tell the story of how Sly got into show business? Most inspiring stuff ever! Look it up on youtube. Actually, I'll do it, hang on:

John,

that's right, you cannot maintain this kind of body all the time. But - you can bust ass for short periods of time and get into peak condition while staying fit the rest of the year.

Even Olympic athletes don't train all the time.

There must be ebb-and-flow. Train and rest. Get into peak condition and then maintain with less intensity.

Good stuff, man!

Yeah, I'd have to agree. Sly busts his butt in the gym, but he does have a movie star physique that isn't realistic to attain for most people or easy to maintain long term.

and who doesn't love a good Rocky movie?

Adam,

wassup buddy! Sly is 62. Help or no help, he busts ass in the gym. And, he looks good - not fat, not bulky. His trainer - Gunnar Peterson, knows what he is doing.

So that's why he is here. Plus, I am a sucker for the Rocky movies LOL

Cheers,
